How-To
Binstor keeps some of your data organized by crop year. Fields, Contracts, and Budgets screens show data for one "session year" at a time. Storage (Yards/ Bins/Loads) and Equipment are the exception: they show your current, live totals regardless of which year is selected, since bins and equipment aren't tied to a single crop year the way a Field's planted crop or a Contract is.
-
Log in with your email and password. Sessions stay active for about a month, so you generally won't need to log back in every visit.
-
Change the year using the year selector near the top of the page (it's available anywhere the crop year matters). This updates every page you visit until you change it again or your session resets.

-
You can also jump straight to a specific year by adding
?year=2025to any page URL, handy for bookmarking or sharing a link to a prior year's data. -
If you manage more than one farm, or work as staff on someone else's farm, use Switch Farm to change which farm's data you're viewing. Everything, including Storage, Fields, Contracts, and Budgets, updates to the farm you switch to.
FAQ
Why does a Field (or Bin) I know exists not show up? It's not the year selector. Fields always appear in the list no matter which crop year is selected; the year only changes what crop/history data shows for that field, not whether the field itself is listed. Bins work the same way. If one's genuinely missing, it's almost always a staff permission restriction (see below). Or, if you manage more than one farm, double-check you're on the right one under Switch Farm.
I'm a staff member and some menu items are missing or grayed out. Your farm's owner controls what you can see and do. Some staff accounts can view Fields but not edit them, or only see specific Yards/Bins/Fields rather than the whole farm. Ask the farm owner to check your permissions under Staff.
Why did I get signed out and land on a "no active farm" page? This means your login isn't currently connected to any active farm, for example if a farm owner removed your access. Contact the farm owner to be re-added, or use Switch Farm if you have access to another farm.
