Scanning & Managing Your QR Codes

Scanning & Managing Your QR Codes

How-To

Once a tag is linked to a Bin or piece of Equipment, using it day-to-day is easy: scan it, and you land on that item's page. No searching, no login steps beyond your normal session.

If a Bin or Equipment record has a QR tag linked to it, its page shows a badge with the tag's code, so you can always confirm which tag belongs to which item.

FAQ

I scanned a code and got "This QR code is not valid or has been disabled." The tag either hasn't been issued yet, or has been disabled. Reach out if you believe a tag you have should be working.

I scanned a code and it says it's not linked to my account. That tag belongs to a different account than the one you're logged into. If you believe that's wrong, reach out to get it corrected.

Can I move a tag to a different Bin or piece of Equipment later? Not directly yourself right now; that has to go through the Binstor team. Reach out and we'll reassign it for you.

What if a tag gets lost or damaged? Reach out and we'll get a replacement sorted out.
